Where last week five stood, now there are three. Of the 36 original pickers, only two others (AUNerd and Foy Onion) and myself have progressed into week seven. Nerd and Funyan, take pride in knowing you have placed in the 3rd edition of the Survivor Pool.

BUT

This isn’t the 74th Hunger Games. There can be no alliance of victory, no abstaining from failing. In this game, there is one survivor. For everyone else...

Well, you won’t actually die. But the winner will hold bragging rights all year, and get to make fun of everyone else for being either too dumb to succeed or too cowardly to attempt. And a damaged sense of pride is like death. Just roll with it.

Auburn is the second to last team to take an off week, but everyone else in the conference is in play this week. Let’s see what our options are:
