BASKETBALL
Coach Flo's Tigers finished the non-conference schedule off the right way with a 53-41 victory over Jacksonville.
Bruce Pearl's squad is ready for the SEC opener tonight after the (mostly) successful non-conference schedule that saw the Tigers improve in many ways and also show plenty of other areas that still need improving. Auburn will be back to full strength in this one with Bryce Brown officially available to play in the conference opener.

FOOTBALL
It's almost the new year, so Peggy already has some Resolutions. She might even be able to keep these particular ones.
There were bowl games last night and more tonight! Here's a schedule of the games for today. I'll actually be at the Alamo Bowl on Row 2 of the upper deck right behind one of the goalposts.
Brent Musberger has been quite impressed with Kamryn Pettway. How impressed? He considers him to be the most powerful back in the conference.
In recruiting news, Georgia has the slight lead for one of the Tigers' top defensive line targets, but Auburn is definitely pushing hard.
