Shaun Shivers makes another appearance!
Over the years, we’ve done different countdowns to kickoff (or tipoff). This year, we’re putting a twist on the classic “Best Auburn Player to Ever Wear Each Number” list. Football is all about lighting up the scoreboard in 2021, so let’s take a walk down memory lane and review the last time a player in each uniform number put up points.

This is what happens when guys change numbers. We already saw this with Harold Joiner, and now we have it with Worm.

I mean sometimes it just worked.
Shivers’s touchdown would tie the game, and Auburn would eventually come back to win 35-28.
Worm still has #8, so I’m fairly certain we’ll see a few more touchdowns in 2021. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if this one comes off the board against Akron.
