Big time wide receiver out of Texas is headed to the Plains
On May 7th, Auburn offered 3-star WR Hal Presley. A week later, he committed to Baylor. But the Tigers never relented. After that initial Auburn offer, Presley became a top target on Auburn’s board. Despite the Bears making keeping the Mansfield Summit standout in the class a top priority, the appeal of the SEC became too much.
On October 30th, Presley decommitted. A week and a half later he committed to the Tigers. Today he officially signs.

AUNerd Scouting Report
Presley is having a monster senior season. Through only 5 games he’s caught 19 passes for 468 yards and EIGHT touchdowns. A big man at 6’3” 190 lbs, Presley has some impressive top end speed that makes him a legitimate deep threat. It’s hard not to be excited about his potential as a 9 man in Auburn’s system given that combination of length and burst. There’s a very good chance Auburn will be down its top 3 wide receivers after this season so the Arlington, TX native will have an opportunity to see some early playing time as a freshman.
