And tonight, after a nearly 5 month delay, Isaac Okoro has (finally) been drafted into the NBA!!
Okoro was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 5th pick in the draft. It’s the first time ever that the Tigers have had 1st Round Picks in consecutive seasons, as Okeke was picked 16th by the Magic last year.
He is Auburn’s first Top 10 pick since 1988 when Chris Morris was drafted 4th by the New Jersey Nets. Isaac is now one of four all-time Top 10 draft picks joining Morris, Charles Barkley and Chuck Person.
