The Bucs are trying to form an all-Auburn anti-aircraft defense down there.
Auburn finally got to participate in the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, as Jamel Dean became the 94th overall selection to Tampa Bay!

Dean was the first Tiger off the board toward the end of the third round. His combination of size and speed will make him a formidable defender in the backfield for the Buccaneers this coming fall, and he made scouts well aware of what he could do physically at an imposing NFL combine showing.
He’ll pair with former Auburn cornerback Carlton Davis in Tampa, as Davis went in the second round to the Bucs in the 2018 Draft.
TAMPA BAY FOR MY DAWG!!!! DONT MAKE A SCENE AND C MURDDDAAAA YEAH

Check out our profile on what Dean brings to the table as a defender and a pure athlete in the defensive backfield as well. He’ll certainly be tasked with matching up against some fantastic passing offenses in the NFC South. Drew Brees and New Orleans’ attack, along with the great receivers in Atlanta will provide a huge learning curve for him this year, and we can’t forget about what Cam Newton will try to do in the Panthers’ two meetings with the Bucs during the first half of the NFL season.
War Eagle, Jamel!
