Lessons Learned. Hopefully.

An Auburn team with a lot of question marks went on the road to Arkansas, and came home with a decisive 52-20 win. With a stunning 3rd quarter performance that saw the Tigers score 28 points, and only allow 7 by the Razorbacks.

By the time the 4th quarter started, Auburn had built a comfortable 45-13 lead, allowing meaningful game experience for some of the backup personnel.

Several key highlights to the second half performance include the seemingly healthy return of Kamryn Pettway who rushed for 90 yards on just 11 carries with 3 TD's. An 8.2 yard per carry average. It wasn't just open field running. Pettway bruised the Hawgs ego as he repeatedly broke tackles, and ran over a few Arkansas defenders.

The biggest play of the night came when Ryan Davis took a reverse pitch from Pettway and then threw the ball downfield to Darius Slayton who ran it in for a TD.
Auburn now has a week off to get ready for a tough road game at Texas A & M.
