News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

BASEBALL

We know the Tigers took the weekend series from Tennessee in Knoxville. Now check out the official site's Weekly Notebook on the team. They'll be in action again tonight in Atlanta against Kennesaw State.

There wasn't much movement by the Tigers in the national polls following this weekend. That's not surprising, though, since UT isn't all that great. It does mean that depending on which polls you look at, this weekend's series against the SEC-leading Arkansas Razorbacks will be yet another Top 10 series on the Plains.

After his weekend performance, the official site wrote about freshman Davis Daniel and his emergence as the Tigers' "third ace" pitcher. If he can continue to improve as we get past the halfway point of the SEC schedule, then Auburn will be a very hard out once post-season play begins.

BASKETBALL

He committed Saturday night, and now JUCO Malik Dunbar has officially signed with the Tigers.

SOFTBALL

When the year is over, do you want to go to the Auburn Softball banquet? Well, you can! It will be open to the public.

FOOTBALL

Unfortunately, Auburn missed out on signing former 5* DT Breiden Fehoko. So, where will the Tigers turn now in their defensive line recruiting? AUNerd gives his thoughts in another CROOTIN' update.

Can Kamryn Pettway increase his speed without decreasing his weight? Apparently, that's what Auburn coaches are hoping to discover this offseason. If he can do that and stay healthy, then definitely look for him to be in the Heisman conversation this year.
