News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

BASEBALL

Against the Tennesse Volunteers, the Tigers did exactly what they're supposed to do and took the series. It really could have been a sweep, but the bullpen let Keegan Thompson down late in Game 2. The starters allowed only 1 run in 20 innings pitched. That's impressive.

BASKETBALL

I wasn't expecting a basketball commitment over the weekend, but, hey, I'll take one! JUCO Forward Malik Dunbar committed to Auburn late Saturday night. He was a recent evaluation and someone Bruce Pearl really liked and he committed after visiting the Tigers this weekend.

SOFTBALL

Friday night's game was very concerning. However, by Sunday evening things were pretty much back to normal as the Good Tigers took the series over the Mizzou Bad Tigers. The Softball season is really starting to wind to a close, so it'll be interesting to see how the Tigers do over the last three SEC series.

FOOTBALL

If you missed the recruiting update from last Friday, be sure to go back and give it a look! There's a possibility the Tigers could be getting some really good news on the recruiting trail this afternoon around 3:00 pm Central, too. Keep your eye out around that time. We'll have an article up regardless of what happens.

Greg Brown says it only took one second to make the decision to leave Mizzou and join Gus Malzahn's staff at Auburn
