20221677-mmmainMontravius Adama and Alex Kozan have joined Carl Lawson and Daniel Carlson on the list of Auburn players receiving SEC Players of The Week honors during the 2016 season. The league office made the announcement Monday.

In Auburn’s blowout win over Arkansas, Kozan led an offensive line that set a record for the most yards (543) in SEC history. He was named the Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance. The senior had 10 blocks that help produce first downs or touchdowns as he graded 93 percent on the day.

Adams was named the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week. Montravius continues his trek of eating up opposing quarterbacks. He had five sacks, two hurries, five tackles, including two for a loss. He was part of a D-Line that held Rawleigh Williams III, one the league’s leading rushers to 22 yards and held the entire Arkansas offense to a 25 yard rushing total.

Congratulations to these two deserving Tigers and War Eagle!
