2017 Four Star Linebacker KJ Britt Commits to Auburn

The Tigers add commitment #15 to the 2017 cycle.

Auburn's 2017 linebacker class was already impressive with Tadarian Moultry and Chandler Wooten. Today, 85 got even better.

In a Bleacher Report video, 4* Linebacker KJ Britt of Oxford, AL announced his commitment to the Tigers. The primary competitors for his commitment were Georgia and Stanford.

Britt, at 6', 235 lbs, is the 15th ranked inside linebacker in the country according to the 247Sports composite. He plays, to reach back into the past and snag a nickname, like a "Little Ball of Hate." If you can call 6 feet tall "little."

This is yet another big get for linebackers coach Travis Williams on the recruiting trail. If he continues to produce like this on and off the field for the Tigers, then he will more than justify the decision to promote him to full-time staff. His future at Auburn is very bright.

The Highlights

As you can see from these highlights, Britt definitely plays hard. He epitomizes that "run through the ball carrier's soul" mentality that T-Will has wanted to instill in his players.

The Class

Britt is the 15th commitment for the Tigers' 2017 class. With this, Auburn moves up two spots to the 12th ranked class in the nation. There are still quite a few spaces left in the class, and Auburn will probably look to add at least one more linebacker in this class.
