A hostile venue awaits.
War Eagle, everybody! This afternoon the the Auburn Tigers take the perilous journey to Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They’ll take on the number one ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in a made-for-TV showdown. Alabama can continue their march towards a championship, while Auburn tries to play spoiler and keep faint title hopes of their own alive.
This game will kick off at 2:30 PM, Central Standard Time. The game will be nationally televised on CBS. For the few attending this game, it should be a good afternoon for football, with mostly clear skies and the temperature around 65 degreesF. There is no little of rain. A nearly full moon will rise after dark, with Jupiter and Saturn to the southwest, and Mars to the southeast.
The only COVID issue that I’ve seen this week involving this game is that Alabama head coach Nick Saban will miss this game due to the illness. The status of the rest of the Alabama players and coaching staff is up in the air. Auburn is said to be missing no one due to the virus this week.
