Outrace Ole Miss! (Auburn at Ole Miss, Open Thread.)

War Eagle, everybody! This morning, Auburn travels back to the SEC Western Division, for an important matchup. The Auburn Tigers will visit the Ole Miss Rebels in Oxford, Mississippi. This game is a chance to climb back into the SEC West race for both teams, and especially in the Ole Miss camp, bowl eligibility.

This game will kick off at 11:00 AM, Central Time. The game will be televised on SEC Network. Check your local listings. For the few attending this game, it should be a mostly cloudy day with temperatures in the 60s. A band of rain swept through the state last night, and a shower remains possible, but not terribly likely.

Auburn expects to have most of their walking wounded back for this game, with the exception of middle linebacker Kenny Britt. Last week, I felt like Auburn played their most solid game of the year on the lines, particularly the offensive line. That must continue this week, and the Tigers need to eliminate the mistakes such as dropped balls and low throws. On defense, Arkansas showed the way last week against Ole Miss. Stop the run, and lay back and wait for Ole Miss to try to force something downfield.

As always, feel free to join in and enjoy this thread. I should have full coverage facilities this week, with no issues. I’ll have the play by play as well as sporadic commentary on various scores around the conference. I am looking forward to another great day of college football! War Eagle!
