Welp...here we are. The top of the mountain. At the precipice of the most pain. The worst win that I have video of Auburn winning. Could you have guessed it was this game? Sure. Is this so bad that it is fondly remembered? Oh it definitely is by non-Auburn fans. But this was a bad football game. Since there are only really 2 plays to remember and a bunch to laugh at, we are going to try something a little different. I was able to fool a buddy of mine, Brad Tillery, into watching this abomination with me and letting me record our reactions and conversation through the game. First off, kudos to you if you watch this whole thing. Second, there is about a 5-10 minute stretch where the video went out and we were not about to rewatch a meaningless drive to the end of the 1st quarter, just stick with it. Also, the audio is a little low from the 2nd quarter on, so just jack it up for the commentary. With all that said, let’s enter the theater for Auburn vs Mississippi State from 2008!
I would be remissed if I didn’t include something that a great man put together to honor this...’game’. Here it is, so you don’t have to search for it later...Baby, I’m Burnin.
So that’s it, I hope you’ve enjoyed the past 10 weeks as I chronicaled (if that’s a word) some of the worst wins in Auburn football history. Who knows, maybe you’ve enjoyed me punishing myself, you sicko. But, I have enjoyed the comments and the laughter of bad football.
