After the whirlwind of action last night, with the NBA suspending its season and the NCAA and conferences announcing games would be played without fans, the news dropped this morning that the SEC Tournament would be cancelled.
ALERT: Based on the latest developments and the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Southeastern Conference today announced the cancellation of the remainder of the 2020 Men’s Basketball Tournament in Nashville.

Several other conferences announced the same thing this morning, including the ACC, Big 10, Big East, and more.
While it hasn’t been officially announced, the writing is on the wall that the NCAA Tournament will be fully cancelled soon.
This leaves us, somehow, at the end of college basketball season. I get why these moves needed to be made, and I fully support them, but I hate it for the guys on this team. This isn’t how your college basketball career is supposed to end.
We’ll take time to reflect on this senior class soon, but now is not the time.
War Eagle, folks.
