Obliterate Ole Miss! (Auburn vs Ole Miss, Open Thread.)

Tigers hope to run wild at home.
(John Reed-USA TODAY Sports.)

War Eagle, everybody! This evening Auburn will take on the Ole Miss Rebels in another SEC Western Division matchup. Auburn needs this game to stay in contention for one of the better bowl games, while Ole Miss needs to win to keep faint bowl hopes alive. Auburn comes into this game wounded to the core, after a tough loss at LSU. Meanwhile, Ole Miss comes in well rested with a dangerous offense.

This game will kick off at 6:00 PM, Central Time. The game will be televised on the ESPN. Those attending this game should dress warmly, as temps are expected to fall into the 40s on a cold, clear November night. There is no chance of rain. Fans in the stands can expect a show in the sky, with Jupiter, Saturn and a waxing moon lining up in the sky.

Since Auburn joined the SEC Western Division, Ole Miss is the team the Tigers have the best record agains, at 21 wins and just 6 losses. Auburn’s last loss to Ole Miss was in 2015, when Tiger quarterback Sean White was injured and did not play in a 27-19 loss.

As always, feel free to join in and enjoy this thread. I will at the keyboard all day, observing and enjoying another college football Saturday. I’ll have the play by play for the entirety of this one. War Eagle!
