Auburn fans are scratching their heads Tuesday.
Their Tigers earned a share of the SEC regular-season crown, yet not one Auburn player was named the first-team selections on the coaches' team.
Jared Harper and Bryce Brown were named to the All-SEC second team, while forward Anfernee McLemore was named to the SEC's All-Defensive team.
One fan took to Twitter to in a creative way to showcase a generalization of how Auburn fans feel, recording a video of a burning SEC hat and declaring, "Today, the SEC spit in the face of Auburn."
Today the @SEC spit in the face of Auburn and I've never been more disgusted with the league that I've supported my whole life pic.twitter.com/n2x6q8t1zm

Skye Underwood, of Birmingham, Alabama, posted the video and told AL.com the reaction has "been a little overwhelming."
"Auburn basketball led the SEC standings from start to finish, yet the SEC coaches didn't select one single Auburn player to first-team All-SEC, despite getting their asses kicked by them all season," Underwood said.
"It irritated me, so I grabbed the hat and the rest is history. I wasn't expecting it to go viral to be honest. ... I was just having some fun, but I don't mind if other laugh at my expense."
He was quick to point out that people shouldn't take him so seriously - again, just having fun.
Underwood said Auburn fans are loving it, while "Tennessee fans and Alabama fans are getting the biggest kick out of it."
"Tennessee fans have gotten the biggest kick out of it," a laughing Underwood said. "Their roasting me for owning a conference hat. Actually won it at an SEC baseball tournament in Hoover."
Even former Auburn star Marquis Daniels chimed in.
So you have a team @AuburnMBB that wins their conference and not one player makes the 1st team @SEC ok cool....#TheGrindContinues #TakeRespect #WarDamnEagle [?] [?] [?] [?] [?] [?]

I guess when all the SEC coaches teams played AU, they didn't watch the guys in orange/blue that were leading their team to an SEC championship. Therefore, none were good enough for post season honors including the coach. @AuburnMBB @coachbrucepearl

Hell if you're telling me @AuburnMBB didn't have a single player in the top 16 best players, that makes it even more ridiculous that Pearl wasn't SEC Coach of the Year.

The @SEC and their coaches are an absolute joke. No respect given to @auburnmbb. Won the damn SEC, yet no players got any credit. @Bwb_2 @therealvinoo @Kingheron5 should all be first team All-SEC. Absolute garbage... @coachbrucepearl has every right to be angry... #WarEagle pic.twitter.com/kGpkp3GweV

No POY, No COY, No 1st-team selections for @AuburnMBB in the SEC coaches voting. Hard not to look at this voting and not conclude the other 13 SEC coaches used their ballot to figuratively stick it to Bruce Pearl. https://t.co/tUVVptqulA
