Auburn basketball vs. Clemson live score updates, analysis from NCAA Tournament

We are live from Viejas Arena in San Diego, where No. 4 seed Auburn is taking on No. 5 seed Clemson in the second round of the NCAA Tournament tonight (6:10 p.m. CT, TBS).

It is expected to be another battle of guards as Auburn (26-7) pits Bryce Brown, Jared Harper and Mustapha Heron against Marcquise Reed, Shelton Mitchell and Gabe DeVoe of Clemson (24-9).

Six of Auburn's last eight games have featured shooting performances under 40 percent. Auburn is 20-2 when it shoots over 40 percent from the field and 6-5 when it doesn't, including Friday's 35.6 percent outing against College of Charleston, which included a horrific 5 of 24 (20.8 percent) outing from 3-point range.

It's up to Auburn's guards to fix that against a top 35 scoring and field goal defense.

Auburn is a 2-point favorite, according to VegasInsider.com.

The winner of tonight's game will No. 1 seed Kansas in the Sweet 16 on Friday in Omaha, Nebraska.
