There’s been some fun “War Eagles!” on Family Feud the past few years. Loud. Proud. Even one from a former Auburn player. But nothing like this.
How did I miss it?
Because it’s almost like the Downes Family from Vestavia Hills—second guy is the city manager—was trying to get my attention. It’s just something about that second shout from Penny. Like she’s trying to make sure someone will tweet it to me or email it to me. So Penny, I’m sorry it’s taken me a year. This was back in 2016, but I just saw it yesterday. Young Lauren is about to start her sophomore year, not her freshman. No wait—she’s already junior! I feel horrible. Better late than never. Life is a mystery. War Eagle.
