Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton didn't have a particularly good day throwing the ball against the Houston Texans on Sunday. He failed to complete half his passes - going 18-of-37 for 195 yards with an interception. But he also threw two touchdown passes, and his running ability helped keep Houston defensive end J.J. Watt and the Texans' pass rush in check as the Panthers moved to 2-0 with a 24-17 victory.
