Cam Newton growing with Mike Shula's help, Carolina Panthers coach says

Carolina offensive coordinator Mike Shula won't have an extra "coach" on the sideline when the Panthers play the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon. He also won't have an unhappy star either. That's because quarterback Cam Newton, after watching last week's opening game from the sideline because of a hairline rib fracture, will return to the Panthers' lineup against the Lions.
