Johni Broome hit a career-best trio of 3-pointers and logged his sixth double-double of the season to lead No. 25 Auburn to an 88-68 win over Penn Tuesday at Neville Arena, the Tigers' sixth straight victory.
"It felt good to see the first one go in," said Broome, whose most recent 3-pointer came against Notre Dame on Nov. 16. "A lot of credit goes to my teammates and my coaches. They still believe in me to give me those shots."
Broome missed only one shot while scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, adding two assists, three blocked shots and a steal to help Auburn tune up for SEC play with its 52nd consecutive non-conference win under Bruce Pearl.
