The back-in-the-day downtown decor was always over the top. The store windows were always painted — before the games, after the games. But at the same time, 50 years ago, it’s like they knew.
The creativity was up, yes (I mean, Bare Bryant?)… but the (literal) sign that a sense of destiny covered the Corner is that sign strung over North College. You’ll see it. You’ll love it. Oh, and something else you’ll love? Those Wear Eagle T-shirts. Support the site with the coolest threads around. Go ahead and click one of them. Look around. See what you like. If one of the hoodies grab you but you’d rather have a shirt? Don’t worry — you can.
