Maybe it’s a good thing Game 6 is Saturday
We have reached the bye week, and that means a full day of watching football with zero consequences. Or doing something that is completely “not” football. I’m not here to judge. Personally I love going to as many games as I can, but it has felt nice not to worry about traveling last weekend and this coming weekend. Sometimes us fans need the reset almost as much as the players do.
Sadly, the CFB slate this weekend is a bit lacking. We can hope that this is randomly the weekend where all hell breaks loose for no reason, but there’s not much on the surface. There are only 5 games involving SEC teams, one of which is against an FCS team. 3 of the other 4 have a spread of 19.5 or greater. None of them are inside of one score. But hey, we can always root for chaos, right?
