Time for Week 2 in the NFL!

After a really good Week 1 for our former Auburn Tigers, what will they do for an encore? Welcome back to Week 2 of Auburn In The Pros where we’ll look at all of the games in which Auburn players will be playing in this weekend. There has been an addition to this year’s edition after 1 week of football is in the books. See below who that is!

Anyway, let’s get started!

Here is the schedule of games this weekend with Auburn players participating in them:

Tonight - 7:20 PM

Bengals (0-1) at Browns (0-1)

Browns - Cody Parkey

The new addition this week is Kicker Cody Parkey, who was signed from the Practice Squad and will be kicking for the Browns tonight.

Bengals - C.J Uzomah, Josh Bynes, Carl Lawson

Josh Bynes had a great debut for the Bengals on Sunday against the Chargers recording 8 tackles.

Sunday - Noon

Jaguars (1-0) at Titans (1-0)

Jaguars - Daniel Thomas

Panthers (0-1) at Buccaneers (0-1)

Panthers - Derrick Brown

Buccaneers - Carlton Davis, Jamel Dean

All eyes will be on Tom Brady’s home debut with the Buccaneers but 3 former Auburn defensive players will be on the field at Raymond James Stadium Sunday. It’ll be interesting to see how Carlton Davis follows up his shutdown performance against the Saints Michael Thomas.

Rams (1-0) at Eagles (0-1)

Eagles - Rudy Ford, Jack Driscoll

49ers (0-1) at Jets (0-1)

49ers - Dee Ford

Bills (1-0) at Dolphins (0-1)

Dolphins - Chandler Cox, Noah Igbinoghene

Vikings (0-1) at Colts (0-1)

Colts - Braden Smith

Lions (0-1) at Packers (1-0)

Lions - Kerryon Johnson

Hoping Kerryon gets more opportunities this week but it’s hard seeing that with the signing of Adrian Peterson and D’Andre Swift also being in the backfield.

Packers - Montravious Adams

Adams missed last week’s game with a toe injury and hasn’t practiced much this week so at the moment, he’s still a question mark for Sunday.

Falcons (0-1) at Cowboys (0-1)

Falcons - Marlon Davidson, Josh Harris

After missing last week’s game with a knee injury, Davidson remains questionable to make his NFL debut on Sunday.

Giants (0-1) at Bears (1-0)

Giants - Darius Slayton, Chad Slade

Slayton had a tremendous performance on Monday Night Football going for over 100 yards and 2 TD catches.

Sunday - 3:05

Washington Football Team (1-0) at Cardinals (1-0)

Washington - Peyton Barber

Barber surprised some with his 2 TD performance as he got the carries when Washington was on the goal line and made the most of them.

Sunday - 7:20

Patriots (1-0) at Seahawks (1-0)

This is the marquee matchup of the weekend and it features a pair of National Champion winners at Auburn. It’s also a great QB matchup between Cam Newton and Russell Wilson.

Patriots - Cam Newton, Jarrett Stidham, Jonathan Jones

Seahawks - Neiko Thorpe (SEA)

Monday - 6:10

Saints (1-0) at Raiders (1-0)

The first NFL game played in Vegas will be this week’s Monday Night game.

Raiders - Daniel Carlson

Really great to see Daniel find a home with the Raiders. They have certainly reaped the benefits of the Vikings cutting him loose.
