Auburn’s final 2016-2017 season victory

Senior Day on the Plains brought Missouri into town as Auburn looked to finish their regular season on a high note. Seniors T.J. Dunans, Ronnie Johnson and LaRon Smith made starts in their final Auburn home game at Auburn Arena.
Auburn shot 69% in the 1st half of this one scoring 54 1st half points with 6 players shooting 100% from the field in the half. Auburn led by as much as 20 in the 1st half and led 54-40 at half. Mustapha Heron led the way with 12 points and made a pair of 3-pointers.
Auburn only shot 40% in the 2nd half while Missouri made a couple of early 2nd half runs to close the gap to 8 and 7 respectively, but they couldn’t get any closer.
Mustapha Heron would finish the game with 20 points, T.J. Dunans had 16 points, while Danjel Purifoy scored 13.
Here are the highlights!
Auburn finished the regular season at 18-13, 7-11 in the SEC and looked like a possible NIT team before losing to Missouri in the 1st Round of the SEC Tournament.
Tomorrow at #81, we move into the 2017-2018 season.
