Remember when Auburn had a crowded QB room? Heading into last spring practice, Auburn had a full fledge QB battle featuring Malik Willis, Joey Gatewood, Bo Nix and Cord Sandberg. Only two of those players remain which means the Tigers desperately need some new faces in that room.

The dual threat QB transferred to powerhouse Lakeland prior to his senior season but an injury sidelined him early and seemed to hamper him at times. He didn’t put up very strong numbers this season because of it but also because he had 5* RB Demarkus Bowman in the backfield to hand it off to.
Garnett is a true dual threat QB capable of doing damage with both his feet an arm. A stocky 6’1” 205 lbs, Garnett can take some hits when on the move. His accuracy must improve if he wants to see the field at the next level but the tools are there for a good QB. This was a Dillingham evaluation so it will be fascinating to see how his career unfolds at Auburn.
