Clobber Kent State! (Auburn vs. Kent State, Open Thread.)

It is homecoming week on the Plains.

     War Eagle, everybody! This evening the Auburn Tigers host the Kent State Golden Flashes in Jordan Hare Stadium. Both teams are coming off wins and are looking to successfully continue their respective seasons. For Auburn, it’s a week to work on the offense after gaining just 379 yards in a 24-6 win over Arkansas. For the Golden Flashes, it’s an opportunity to score a major upset of an SEC team, in their own back yard, however unlikely.

     This game will kick off at 6:00 PM, Central time, on ESPN-2. At kickoff for this one, temperatures should be around 90F, falling to around 80 when this one ends around 9:30 PM. It should be partly cloudy, with a slight chance of a shower in the first half at Jordan Hare Stadium.

     As always, feel free to join in and enjoy this thread. I will at the keyboard before halftime and will pick up my usual play by play, on my main desktop, today! I should be able to operate at full speed, this week. I’m hoping for a big Auburn win today in game three. Auburn usually starts really tearing opponents up, this time of year. War Eagle, and let’s smash those Golden Flashes!
