Kareem Canty, one of several transfers Auburn brought in during the early days of Bruce Pearl, had a great scoring performance against Xavier in a losing effort.
At #48 on the countdown, we go back to the 2015-2016 season. Kareem Canty was one of several guys Bruce Pearl brought in from the transfer market when he arrived at Auburn. Canty started his career at Marshall before becoming Auburn’s Point Guard for 21 games during the 2015-2016 season. He led the team in scoring that year with 18.3 points per game.
Auburn traveled to Cincinnati on this particular day to take on the Musketeers after beating Xavier in Auburn Arena the previous year in a thrilling Double Overtime game. Unfortunately for Auburn, this game didn’t go so well for them.
Total Points: 25
Date: December 19, 2015
Opponent: at Xavier

Auburn trailed early 8-0 in this game and 39-30 at halftime. Canty had 14 of Auburn’s 30 points in the 1st half. The Musketeers outscored Auburn 46-31 in the 2nd half. Canty was 8-16 from the field, 5-9 from 3-point range and 4-7 from the free throw line. He also had 4 assists and 4 rebounds that day.
