Are You Ready for Some Football? – Here’s Opening Weekend Broadcast Schedule

After eight long months, we’re so ready for some football. And there is plenty on tap this first week of the 2019 college football season with games stretching from Thursday night through Labor Day on Monday. Saturday, the No. 13 Auburn Tigers face the No. 11 Oregon Ducks in the AdvoCare Kickoff Classic in Dallas.

Both teams are said to have outstanding quarterbacks. Auburn will be led by Bo Nix, last year’s “Mr Football” in the state of Alabama. The former five star recruit will be the first Auburn true freshman to make his debut in game one of the season. On the other side Oregon have a potential first round NFL Draft pick in Justin Herbert. The senior turned down millions of dollars pay day last season to play one more year for the Ducks.

The game is being billed as the Tiger defensive line verses the Duck offensive line, and with good reason. The Ducks’ O-line has made 153 starts together and is loaded with experienced talent including preseason all-Americans Shane Lemieux and Calvin Throckmorton,

On the other side of the ball, Auburn’s defensive line is loaded veterans with three potential top draft picks in Derrick Brown,  Marlon Davidson, and Nick Coe. So this game could well come down to Auburn’s defensive front versus Oregon’s offensive line. And of course the same is true in reverse. Win it or lose it in the trenches

With two teams that like to play fast this also could shape up to be, (to quote the late great Jim Fyffe) “A wild and wooly shootout” in Dallas’s AT&T Stadium. So, are you ready for some football?

For your convenience we have listed below the TV broadcast schedule for all games for Friday through Monday for your College Football viewing guide. Game times are Central Daylight, and all SEC games as well as those involving top 25 teams are underlined.
