The Tigers found out their fate in the NCAA Tournament Monday morning, and it will be a tough road to navigate. Auburn is a 2 seed in the Atlanta regional and will take on the 3 seed Coastal Carolina on Friday morning at 11 am on ESPNU. The other matchup in the regional is Georgia Tech, who was awarded the number 3 overall seed, taking on the 4th seeded Florida A&M Rattlers at 6 pm. The tournament is double elimination and is set to start Friday.
The SEC as a whole got 10 teams in the field this year (Vanderbilt, Georgia, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Florida). We will do a deep dive in to this regional and will touch on the rest of the regionals later this week. But for now, Auburn is still playing baseball, and that’s all we can ask for this Memorial Day.
