2018 SEC Football Media Days – Broadcast Schedule

For the first time in 33 years, SEC Media Days will be held outside the state of Alabama. This year’s event kicks off Monday in Atlanta and will run from July16 to 19th. It will be held at the relatively new College Football Hall of Fame.

The Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center is the host hotel for the event and will house Radio Row. However, the Hall of Fame is connected to the Omni and will be where coaches hold their press conferences and where live broadcast from ESPN and the SEC Networks take place.

Already a circus atmosphere, it almost couldn’t get any crazier but moving it to the big media town of Atlanta, just may kick it up a notch.

Live coverage of coaches’ remarks and player interviews will begin on Monday at approximately 12:45 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. while Thursday’s schedule will be a shortened format – 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Commissioner Greg Sankey will open things up at 11:30 on Monday.

This year, in addition to hearing the SEC Coordinator of Officials, Steve Shaw speak, there will be press conferences from Bill Hancock, Executive Director College Football Playoff and David Fletcher, Football Bowl Association.

Auburn Coach Gus Malzahn will be the first to take the podium on the last day and he  will be followed by interviews with quarterback The Search for Income: An investor's guide to income-paying investments , linebacker Power Over Ethernet Interoperability Guide ,and defensive lineman From Neurons to Neighborhoods: An Update: Workshop Summary . Here’s the entire schedule for the week.
