AL.com and James Crepea are starting a scouting series for each of Auburn’s twelve opponents this year. Today they touch on Georgia Southern and give a little bit in terms of the storylines and key players for each side.
They also go more in-depth on the defensive line, as one of the keys in that game will be how some of the new guys hold up against the Georgia Southern running attack.
Yesterday was the 37th anniversary of Coach Jordan’s passing, and the Auburn Vault put out a short video on the hiring of Shug.

As many already know, one of the many integral people behind the scenes of Auburn athletics is Kirk Sampson, AU’s sports information director. Kirk got a bit of the Media Days treatment himself when he was in Hoover with Gus.
Also, mark your calendars for two things! Fan Day comes your way on August 19th, but this Thursday, July 20th, the SEC Network is all-Auburn. It’s the annual SEC Network Takeover, and the full slate of Tiger-centric classics is set for your viewing pleasure! We’ll look more at the schedule tomorrow!
