News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet
FOOTBALL
ProFootballFocus examined Jarrett Stidham's 2015 appearances for the Baylor Bears. That article is actually from a few months ago, but it's relevant again now since he's going to be a Tiger.
For something a little more Auburn-related Justin Ferguson put up a special edition of his Ferg's Film Room regarding Stidham and his three starts at Baylor.
Former Tiger Takeo Spikes had some good things to say about Auburn's defense and one of the linebackers in particular. It's been nice to see the defense get back to being a hard-hitting unit again.
ESPN is hyping up Auburn in 2017 after Stidham's transfer. I really don't want to get into that type of hype right now, because of the Jeremy Johnson situation, but hey, he is supposed to be really good and showed it in multiple games in the BigXII.
Some more Tigers were added to All-American teams with the CBSSports All-American team. This one sees Braden Smith getting his first bit of recognition.
In not-so-great recruiting news, 4* ATH Tray Bishop decommitted from Auburn. That's not exactly surprising, but thankfully we were no longer in a position of "this guy who really wants to be a DB is our only QB recruit.
I'll leave you on a good note after that, though. Hey, Kyle Davis can jump (and catch):
