Auburn Picks up Big Commitment for Class of 2017

Auburn picked up a significant commitment today for the class of 2017 when 4-star wide receiver, Brandon Martin announced his pledge to the Tigers. Martin out of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is rated the nation’s No. 1 receiver JUCO receiver.

The former Under Armour All-American made the announcement on twitter, “I am officially committed to Auburn University #AmbUsh17.”

This is good news for team that will be losing seniors Marcus Davis and Tony Stevens after this year.

“It has been a long journey,” Martin said via twitter. “I am very thankful for all the colleges that recruited me and that has been with me through the process.”

He’s another product of this year’s Big Cat Weekend and could well be a playmaker for the Tigers. He definitely has the tools to be a great one. The 6′,4″ – 205 pounder picked Auburn over LSU, Florida, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Louisville, and others.
