News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Khady Dieng is aiming for a spot on Senegal's national team. That would be a pretty cool honor, though, of course, we'd have to cheer against her should the USA face Senegal.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

It is official, now, that Austin Wiley - a 2017 commitment - has made the 12 man roster for the United States' U17 team. If you want to see him in action, the 2016 FIBA Men's U17 World Championship starts June 23rd and runs through July 3rd.

SWIMMING AND DIVING

Speaking of international competitions, Auburn diver Scott Lazeroff is heading to the US Olympic Trials to try to earn a spot on the US team for the upcoming Rio Olympics.

SOFTBALL

I wrote some things about Auburn Softball and their amazing 2016 season. Honestly, though? Just click the link in there and read Jerry Hinnen's words on the team. He put it so much better than I ever could.

FOOTBALL

What's the best and worst case scenario for Auburn football in 2016? 247Sports lays out their opinion for you. No one can really predict what Auburn will do this season, though, because no one has a clue who will win the QB job and what the offensive philosophy from that will be.

Athlon Sports published their first Pre-Season All-American team, and there are quite a few Tigers on their list. It does go all the way to 4th team, though. Their prediction for Auburn's record is not as rosy, however.
