Tony Richardson came to Auburn in 1990 from Daleville, Ala., where he rushed for 1,003 yards as a senior at Daleville High School. Born in Germany, he never played football until he went to high school. By the time he was at Auburn, he had blossomed into an outstanding fullback. Over the course of four seasons, he would rush for 715 yards and nine touchdowns while paving the way for two-time All-SEC back James Bostic, who would become a third-round pick in the 1994 NFL Draft.
