Auburn recruited Harris through July 2013, when he chose LSU over Auburn and Ohio State. "He is a mobile quarterback," Malzahn said. "There's no doubt about that, but really what stood out to me recruiting him is he has an NFL arm. He can stand on one hash and throw it across the numbers. It gets there in a hurry. He's a very talented young man."
