Nick Fairley attributes weight gain to "eating," plans to earn back starting spot

In addressing his demotion to second team with the Detroit Lions, defensive tackle Nick Fairley said his "eating habits got in the way," although he just as easily could have said his "eating habits got in the weigh." In his first meeting with media members since dropping to second string last week, Fairley said his weight had risen to 315 pounds.
