News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

Random note before we get to the links: Auburn, Massachusetts must be a really dangerous place. The feedly tool I use to quickly get stories is constantly filled with violent crime, missing people, etc from Auburn, MA. I have to stop and check to make sure it's not our Auburn every time, too.

On another note, this is short today. I spent all day yesterday either on a plane or in an airport and I'm ready for sleep as I put this together. it takes 1 hour and 40 minutes to walk basically every terminal space in Dallas-Fort Worth, by the way. I got really bored in my 4-hour layover and discovered that. But, hey, I got a good workout. I just considered it an "urban hike" with my backpack on.

BASEBALL

The first road series of the season begins tonight in Athens. Here's the official site's preview. Ours will be up before noon.

EQUESTRIAN

The Tigers are hosting the SEC Championships this weekend. Here's the info you need on it!

SWIMMING AND DIVING

Find out how the Tigers are doing in the national championships.

FOOTBALL

CROOTIN'! AUNerd gives us the rundown on where things stand for the Tigers for the 2018 class. It really sounds like there are a lot of players who want to get their decisions over with before they start playing ball in the fall, which could mean a lot of Spring and Summer commitments.

A 2019 game has been set! Don't get too excited. It's the FCS game against Samford. Chris Hatcher (assuming he's still there) will bring his Hatch Attack offense that still gives the Georgia Southern fan in me nightmares (because he was not a great coach at Georgia Southern) to Jordan-Hare Stadium.
