On Tuesday evening, Auburn landed its eighth commitment for the 2019 class after 4-star safety Quindarious Monday announced his decision via Twitter.

Monday is the No. 9 athlete in 247sports’ player rankings and had narrowed his decision down to Auburn and Clemson in recent weeks.
Monday was on an official visit to Auburn on Tuesday when he made the announced his decision, and what a big pickup it is for an Auburn team that is in need of players at the safety position.
Monday is Auburn’s first safety commit for the 2018 class.
