News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

BASEBALL

The Tigers' season ended last night. Auburn's troubles with hitting breaking pitches met a pitcher who was primed and ready to throw the dirty stuff. The Seminoles knocked off Auburn 6-0 in the finale.

BASKETBALL

Two Tigers have earned some pretty big honors as both Austin Wiley and Chuma Okeke are 2 of 25 invited to the U19 World Cup Training Camp.

FOOTBALL

Season tickets go on sale to the general public June 8th. I'm waiting to see when individual game tickets go on sale because I need to get tickets to the Georgia Southern game.

In "misleading headlines, one of AL.com's best is at it again with claiming SEC ADs privately teased Jay Jacobs on the "Auburn to the SEC East" stuff. If you have VIP access at 247Sports, it was quite interesting to see Brandon Marcello unload on AL.com.

That's all I have for you, today. I was travelling yesterday and finding my way around Colorado Springs. I'll be here this week and won't have much time to get to writing anything during the day. Hopefully, I'll be able to write some stories at night to set to publish, though. I want to get to an early preview of each game that I can just set to publish for a week or two.
