The Auburn Baseball Team bowed out of the SEC Tournament Thursday night losing to Arkansas 11-0 after two good performances in their first two games.

Coach Butch Thompson said he was proud of the way the Tigers played against No.1 Florida and in their win over Ole Miss but there are lessons to learn from the last game. “We definitely have some things that we have to look at and work on,” said Thompson. “So we won’t forget this either, but we will take the good, the bad and the ugly in this series to help our guys get ready [for the NCAA Regional].”

At the end of the 2016 Women’s College World Series Championship Auburn fans were left wanting with one more shot at eventual champion, Oklahoma. The No. 7 Tigers (49-10) get that chance today as they host No. 6 Sooners (54-9) at 3 p.m. CT in a rematch of the 2016 WCWS.

The Super Regional will be a best of three games. Friday’s game is set to be televised on ESPN2 at 3 p.m. CT, while Saturday’s will be aired at 12 p.m. CT on ESPN. Should third game is necessary; it will be televised on ESPN at 12 p.m. CT.

The winner of the Super Regional will advance to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City

Let’s go Tigers!
