News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

BASKETBALL

The ladies have dominated Alabama over the last few years. They continued that last night with a come-from-behind victory (something they specialize in this season) in the 4th quarter to knock off the Tide 66-55.

Would you call Auburn's 88-80 defeat of TCU on the road a signature win? Maybe not. However, it was a huge win for the program and a big win to bounce back from the South Carolina game. Bruce Pearl is having by far his best season of his three years and we're watching players like Austin Wiley grow up before our eyes.

Oh, and Wiley did this all while he was sick.

BASEBALL

Keegan Thompson is back on the mound for Auburn and that's great news for the Tigers. He's aiming to be the starter on opening day.

TENNIS

The ladies have been on a rise over the last few seasons with getting into later rounds of the NCAA Championships. They continued that rise with a win over USC this weekend to make it to the National Indoor Championships for the first time in school history.

FOOTBALL

Auburn needs tight ends. Last year, we only had Jalen Harris on scholarship. He caught two passes for two touchdowns. There is a reason Auburn added a JUCO TE and now just yesterday accepted the commitment from yet another TE.

National Signing Day is the Wednesday! Auburn will have a ton of different ways on multiple platforms to follow the excitement.

Stanton Truitt is heading to North Carolina. He should do very well there and we wish him the best. Because of his injury issues, he'll have two years to play as a graduate transfer for the Tar Heels.

The Senior Bowl was this weekend and Monty Adams continued his upward trend from his senior season. He had a number of tackles and even a fumble recovery.
