Tis the season for college football coaching rumors, so get ready Auburn football fans. Online sports book Bovada has listed Gus Malzahn among the favorites to become the next head coach of the Florida Gators.
At 12-to-1, Malzahn and Gary Patterson share the ninth spot on the list of most likely candidates. Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy is the overall favorite at 4-to-1, followed by Colorado State’s Jim McElwain (9-to-2), Oklahoma’s Bob Stoops and Mississippi State’s Dan Mullen (both 11-to-2). Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez – considered by many members of the media to be not only a strong candidate, but a great fit, comes in at 7-to-1 along with former NFL head coach Mike Shanahan.
